We don’t charge a room hire fee if your participants stay with us and we’re happy to organise your catering needs.

Attending workshops run by others
The following workshops are currently in the pipeline. You are welcome to attend.
Just tick the topic(s) that you are interested in.

tutor: Martin. Winner of the Vic Tourism, 'Great things to do in Melbourne' award, Martin's 'on the spot' classes are very popular. Everyone is enthusiastic about what they have learned and everyone comes out saying 'Why didn't I do this years ago?!'!.

Stress free methods that make recycling and running a sustainable home simple.

tutor: We are not saying too much about this at present but we have an agreement in principal to have the chef from (no names) a restaurant that has won numerous ‘Best restaurant’ awards. Great!! Pinnies on and sleeves rolled up!!

tutor: Three tutors have agreed to teach these classes. One is a career professional who has made a living selling his own art. One has been an art-teacher for 25 years and is a wealth of not just knowledge but also enthusiasm on anything arty or artistic. And the 3rd is an ‘emerging artist’ who has just finished her Masters in Fine Art and has won 7 awards in the past 18 months. In the past 12 months her art has increased in value from $2500 to $14,000.

I attended a photography workshop at Captains Retreat with Martin and … it was fantastic. I told him he should call it “digital cameras for dummies’. I’m nearly 50 and I’ve never read  the instructions to a camera!!
The house was great, the food was great. the beds were comfy. I am sold on it all. I’ll definitely be attending course 2 for the ‘not so dumb’.
