When I first saw our beautiful old home in this fabulous location, I decided that ‘this was it’.

Built originally as a single 4 room cottage (1862) and then extensively extended in 1880 for a ship Captain and his family, the house at number 2 Ferguson St. has also been a nunnery, a brothel, accommodation flats and administration offices – all part of its rich history!

We spent years renovating, restoring and refurbishing and we’re delighted that our guests love what has been done. Most people comment on how much larger it is than it looks from the street and ‘what a lovely feel’ the home has when they walk through.

This is a large house (7 bedrooms, 8 bathrooms, 2 kitchens and 3 living rooms!) so there is plenty of room if guests want to relax and rewind. And because there is so much to see and do in Williamstown, you will often have the large upstairs guest lounge and deck to yourselves!

Breakfast is served upstairs in the guest lounge or on the large rear balcony. If you prefer a very early breakfast we can just leave everything out ready for you to help yourself.

The beds are all new and very comfortable with beautiful linen, fresh flowers, tea and coffee when you  want (with home-made munchies) digital TV’s etc. – all things to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable.
