This lovely house is in a fabulous location right on The Strand with great views of yachts, the city and across the bay to St. Kilda, Brighton etc.
It can be configured and rented in a number of different ways:
- The whole house - $500 per night
- The downstairs suite with private lounge, court-yard garden - $205 + $10 + $10 for Saturday & public hols
- One of the two upstairs rooms $155 + $10 for 2nd person + $10 for Saturdays & public holidays
- One of the 2 upstairs rooms exclusively $250 (we block out the next room so that there is no-one next to you and so that you do not have to share a bathroom).
n.b *The two upstairs rooms share a bathroom and that is why they are cheaper but we really try not to put people next door to each other.
Up to two Extra beds can be put into the downstairs Garden Suite
- $40 per bed set-up + $10 per person per night.
* All beds are Queen.
* All guests have access to the large guest lounge room upstairs with gas log fireplace & east facing balcony with terrific views of yachts, city and bay.
* Tariff includes a self-serve continental breakfast as well as tea, coffee and cake any time.

Balcony Room (AVB)
$155 + $10 for 2nd person+ $10 for Sat & public holidays

Please note that, as with the Captains Retreat house, there is a shared living room upstairs. The downstairs suite however has its own private lounge room so mostly we find that if there are people upstairs, the people using the downstairs suite don’t tend to go up since they have their own lounge and kitchenette etc. downstairs BUT … they do have access so please consider this when booking. They may come up to see the fabulous view and to say hello. They of course do not have access to the 2 upstairs bedrooms and the people who rent the upstairs rooms do not have access to the downstairs suite.
